The safety and wellbeing of all Astoria Farmers Market guests, volunteers, vendors, and partners is our top priority. We do not tolerate hate speech, discrimination, violence, or predatory behavior in any form. Anyone perpetuating these unwelcome acts will be removed from the farmers market and Open Street area immediately. Security, vested volunteers and market managers at the yellow tent are available to assist at any time.
AFM is an independently run farmers market operation un-affiliated with any other markets in New York City — and we are proudly the only farmers market in Astoria, Queens!
AFM is a neighbor-run market hosted by the 31st Avenue Open Street Collective, through 31OS's market open call — though we are a separate organization from the Collective.
31OS has been hosting their own programming on the Open Street since 2020 (tabling, markets, yard games, cookouts, movie nights, etc.)! Visit the 31OS website to explore opportunities to get involved with 31OS events.
All other programming on the Open Street is separate from and unrelated to Astoria Farmers Market.
AFM 2026 vendor roster is full! We do not offer walk-up tabling or vending opportunities.
Astoria Farmers Market is a food industry event that works through a specific vendor application and safety regulation process. All AFM vendors are required to provide a Certificate of Insurance, valid food producer business license or exemption, and a signed agreement of conduct before participating.
If you're interested in future vending opportunities with AFM, please feel free to email us your business overview at info@astoriafarmersmarket.com.
AFM takes place on 31st Avenue between 33rd–35th Streets in Astoria, Queens, NY. Starting in 2026, we are operating fully on the 34th–35th St block, and partially on the 33rd–34th St block.
Please note: AFM splits the space on 33rd–34th St, shared with other donation-based programming held by 31OS. Astoria Farmers Market signage and vendor map is present on the street to clarify the starting point of the farmers market. Please visit the yellow AFM Info tent with any questions about our participating vendors!
Astoria Farmers Market takes place 2nd and 4th Sundays in 2026 through November 8th.
Selling hours are 12:30–5:00pm on market dates. Some vendors may sell out of product sooner than 5:00pm, so we recommend arriving towards the beginning of the market whenever possible.
Due to high demand from both our guests and vendors, AFM responded to across-the-board requests to increase the program.
Currently, Astoria Farmers Market is only open from May through November. While we intend to remain a peak-season market for the foreseeable future, we are continually gauging interest in a year-round market or off-season activities. If this is meaningful to you, feel free to let us know in our Feedback Form!
This season, you can expect between 26-29 vendors each market date. Starting in 2026 we are able to operate on both blocks of the 31st Ave Open Street, so we we will have an expanded capacity compared to last year.
AFM vendors accept a minimum of two forms of payment at Astoria Farmers Market — this could include cash and credit/debit, and some accepting Venmo, PayPal, etc.
While AFM is not currently authorized to issue SNAP/EBT benefits at the market level, several of our vendors participate individually. Vendors accepting SNAP/EBT and FMNP coupons will be indicated on our website and market maps on-site.
Yes, leashed dogs are allowed at Astoria Farmers Market!
