LOCALLY-SOURCED FARM FRESH INGREDIENTS BROUGHT TO YOU IN ASTORIA, QUEENS

FOR ASTORIANS, BY ASTORIANS.

Now in its second season, Astoria Farmers Market pops-up nearly 30 local food vendors on 31st Avenue Open Street every 2nd and 4th Sunday (12:30-5:00pm) through November 8th.

About AFM
Astoria Farmers Market connects local growers and producers from across the Hudson Valley, Long Island, and Queens with one of New York City's most food-famous neighborhoods.

Founded by two Astoria neighbors sharing over 20 years of experience in food and hospitality, Astoria Farmers Market is cultivating a community of regional businesses dedicated to bringing quality ingredients to Queens, and keeping farmland in the hands of New Yorkers. The best way to keep up on AFM's latest is through Instagram: @AstoriaFarmersMarket.

AFM Mission
Long-term, Astoria Farmers Market seeks to contribute to a thriving, sustainable food system that impacts communities across New York and the Northeast. By expanding access to nutritious and responsibly grown food, culinary education, and moments of genuine connection, AFM is nurturing an agricultural pipeline that supports both farmers and feasters for generations to come.

SEASONAL ARTIST: CARYN CAST

ABOUT CARYN

Caryn Cast is an artist based in New York City who creates murals, paintings, chalk portraits, and sculptures. Her work balances around people and culinary delights, birds and especially pigeons. Her work winds up in unusual places, from street alleys to restaurant bathrooms to cooking shows. You can also find her work in galleries and specialty shops throughout NYC, including Lockwood Shop. Visit Caryn on Instagram: @CarynCast and take home a piece of her seasonal farmers market merch from the yellow AFM info tent!

SEASONAL ARTIST

Kicking off officially this year with Caryn Cast, each upcoming season AFM invites a new artist to collaborate on an exclusive seasonal AFM merch design for totes, t-shirts, and more. We believe strongly in adaptability and change, and look forward to sharing the many facets of AFM and our artist community as we grow. Interested artists — keep an eye on AFM's Instagram for an open call in early 2027!
