About AFM
Astoria Farmers Market connects local growers and producers from across the Hudson Valley, Long Island, and Queens with one of New York City's greatest neighborhoods. Founded by two Astoria neighbors with over 20 years of combined industry experience, AFM is cultivating a community of over 40 regional businesses dedicated to bringing quality ingredients to Queens and keeping farmland in the hands of New Yorkers.
Our Mission
AFM contributes to a thriving, sustainable food system that serves communities across the Northeast. By expanding access to nutritious and sustainably grown food, culinary education, and moments of genuine connection, we're nurturing an agricultural pipeline that supports both farmers and feasters for generations to come.
